Wine & Sparkling Wine
Animal products are often used during the production of wine and also for producing fruit juices. Air bladders of fish are used for the fining of wine to remove the original cloudiness. However, this must not be declared on the label as such animal products are only used during production and are no ingredient that has to be listed. Thus it is often difficult for vegans to find the right wine. But fortunately there are press houses that consciously produce vegan wine without using animal products. These wines have the V label and therefore can easily be recognised as vegan. Cheers!
